Welcome to Yorkshire Yoga

Yorkshire Yoga was founded in 2005 to provide a welcoming and inclusive venue in which all of the community could experience the benefits of yoga.  We passionately believe that everyone should be able to participate in yoga and benefit from the physical and emotional support from taking part.

We offer a range of classes suitable for different levels of ability and health.

We are based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire and our yoga centre is a hub offering a range of group exercise classes taught by qualified instructors in Yoga, Pilates, Nordic Walking as well as well-being and natural stress relief techniques.

Women’s Mantra Meditation Transmission Circle

Join us and experience a very special level of deep relaxation, peace, nourishment, space, healing and love.

No experience of meditation or mantras is needed.

The Circles will also suit advanced meditators, advanced yoga practitioners and teachers, advanced meditators and those on spiritual paths or in Awakening.  This is a wonderful nourishing powerful Mantra Meditation Transmission Circle in which women gather together to Meditate with Mantra’s.  For more information and to book on these exciting Saturday sessions please click here…

Are you a new Mum..?

Classes for New Mums

We run a number of classes that are for designed to support new mums and offer sessions that are baby friendly.

The Mother and Baby Yoga session aims to to guide and help you adjust your exercise routine to include your new baby and grow in confidence as you exercise together.  You can find information about the class here…

My Yoga Story...

We Firmly Believe that Yoga is for Everybody

Yoga and Pilates have proven benefits that are physical, mental and social and we want to encourage everybody in the Knaresborough, Starbeck and Harrogate area to get involved.

You don’t have to be female, or young or ‘bendy’ to get involved in Yoga or Pilates and it can really help cope with the challenges 21st century living.

We are asking people to tell their Yoga Story and we recently met up with John and asked him to share a little about how Yoga has helped him.  You can check out his story here
