Welcome to Yorkshire Yoga

Yorkshire Yoga was founded in 2005 to provide a welcoming and inclusive venue in which all of the community could experience the benefits of yoga.  We passionately believe that everyone should be able to participate in yoga and benefit from the physical and emotional support from taking part.

We offer a range of classes suitable for different levels of ability and health.

We are a Registered Charity and A Registered Company.

Yorkshire Yoga and Therapy Centre is a trading name of Yorkshire Yoga, a company limited by guarantee, registered in England & Wales No. 9536820 and a registered charity no. 1124347.

We are based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire and our yoga centre is a hub offering a range of group exercise classes taught by qualified instructors in Yoga, Pilates, Nordic Walking as well as well-being and natural stress relief techniques.

New Pregnancy Yoga Class for Autumn 2019

We are pleased to announce a new yoga session for Mums to Be…

Pregnancy yoga safely adapts classic poses which help prepare your body for labour and birth by helping to build strength, stamina and confidence in your ever changing body. You can join us anytime from 14 weeks and practice right up to your baby’s birth. You also get to be part of a supportive network of pregnant women during this wonderfully exciting time.

Absolutely no previous yoga experience is required. You can join from the beginning of your second trimester (around 14 weeks) and are welcome to come to class until your baby is born. It’s lovely also to have post-birth Mums visit the class with their newborns and tell their birth story.

Women’s Mantra Meditation Transmission Circle

Join us and experience a very special level of deep relaxation, peace, nourishment, space, healing and love.

No experience of meditation or mantras is needed.

The Circles will also suit advanced meditators, advanced yoga practitioners and teachers, advanced meditators and those on spiritual paths or in Awakening.  This is a wonderful nourishing powerful Mantra Meditation Transmission Circle in which women gather together to Meditate with Mantra’s.  More information about these Tuesday evening sessions are available by clicking here…

Mindfulness Based Living Course - September 2019

Mindfulness meditation is a way of paying attention to, and seeing clearly whatever is happening in our lives. It helps to reduce stress as well as to develop more focus and mental clarity. It has a beneficial effect on our working practices and relationships.

Pilates For Beginners

Are you looking for a beginners Pilates class?  We’ve just the session for you.
